Operations Assistant
At Belamour, we are a small senior care company located in the Vancouver, WA area. We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team.
In the office, we are the hub of operations - we are looking for someone fluid who can move from task to task, see the big picture yet notice the small details.
Who are We?
Belamour Care has 6 locations (5 Adult Family Homes and 1 Assisted Living Facility) and over 50 employees. Come join our team in allowing families to become family again.
What type of person are we looking for?
Your role in a nutshell: Assist with accounting, finance, and HR
You’re looking for a full-time job (40 hours!)
You’re looking for a variety in your work
You possibly have QuickBooks experience; not required though
You’re looking for an in-person role; no remote work in this role!
You can make decisions… You aren’t paralyzed by which cleaning detergent to buy!
You smile; you aren’t crabby every day. This will make us cranky ourselves
You’re okay switching back and forth on tasks
What would you be doing?
Staffing – what’s this? This is assisting the RCC with the schedule, placing ads, and even helping us with interviewing and onboarding of new employees!
MasterChef: Well, this might be overstated but helping with meal planning and grocery ordering.
Mail: We get lots of mail, so helping us sort and organize the process.
FAQ: Help answer questions and be pro at answering their questions.
Books: Work in QuickBooks to help with AP, AR, Payroll, etc.
Receipts: You will manage all our purchase receipts; this can be a pain sometimes.
Meetings: Attend our weekly meetings, we try our best to make them interesting!

Why might you not like this position?
Data Entry Heavy: There is a lot of work on the finance side that requires data entry. Get that 10 key ready.
Lots of Sitting: While there is a variety of work, you will get your fair share of desk time.
Death by Numbers: Be sure you’re a numbers person, because you’ll be deep in spreadsheets sometimes.
What does it pay?
We are planning to pay $25-$35 per hour to start, but let’s chat about it!
When we interview, what are we going to be looking for?
We will be specific about our questions, depending on how our conversations go. The first conversation will be over the phone, and following interviews will typically be in person. Here is the jist of what we will be looking for:
Hunger: How willing are you to work hard without being pressed? Are you a driven person?
Humility: Are you willing to accept accountability for your actions? Do you apologize and admit to your weaknesses?
Smart (Emotional Intelligence): How do you handle the relationships around you? Are you able to control or read emotions?
Additional Requirements
Criminal Background check cleared.
Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
