Senior Writer, Corporate & Investment Banking
About this role:This position will craft compelling thought leadership content for Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) businesses. Additionally, the successful candidate will devise and execute media relations strategies to promote the leadership’s objectives in the press as well as manage negative press stories. This position can sit in Charlotte, NC or New York, NY and is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Communications Consultant .In this role, you will:
Write and edit content to inform target audiences; this includes key messages and talking points
Identify strategic storytelling opportunities that promote leaders, businesses, and key initiatives
Track and measure key metrics for the CIB Communications team and provide quarterly reports
Seek opportunities to fully leverage internal and external channels to amplify these stories
Support internal and external initiatives, including town halls, webcasts and Key Leaders Summit
Assist with cross CIB initiatives such as DEI and ESG communications
Collaborate across Public Affairs to coordinate work and ensure a “One Wells Fargo” approach
Audit Content Express to ensure compliance and tracking of key goals
Partner with communicators on alignment and support for enhancing Wells Fargo’s reputation

4+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience developing integrated communications plans that align with business objectives
Experience developing compelling content and leveraging multiple channels for storytelling
Experience providing communications counsel to management teams
Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers
Experience building relationships with key national print, broadcast and trade media outlets
