Commercial Electrical Contractor Seeking Experienced Journeyman Electrician

Well established electrical contractor located in the Mat-Su Valley currently seeking an experienced electrical journeyman to join our team for immediate work in the Anchorage area. Pay will be D.O.E $50-$65 an hour

experienced residential / commercial Senior Journeyman Electrician for a full-time hourly position. This is a hybrid office/field position with guaranteed full-time work. When not working in the field, you will be helping with site visits, estimates, and warehouse management Candidates must also be able to meet the following requirements:

Current State of Alaska Electrician Journeyman Certificate of Fitness

Valid State of Alaska driver’s license & reliable transportation

Willingness to work statewide

Strict adherence to current NEC

Detail oriented

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems

Solution oriented

Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team setting

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrate safe working practices

Professional appearance and behavior

Must have great customer service skills

Ability to read and understand plans and specifications

Ability to manage field staff and coordinate with office staff on scheduling

Able to lift at least 50 pounds and ability to perform basic manual tasks

Timely tracking of job sheets and materials

Sufficient understanding of most recent NEC

Ability to learn new technology and relevant NEC code

Job duties as required

Microsoft office suite proficiency preferred
