We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to serve a 65 person pub. The ideal candidate will have a several years of experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and service. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, creating innovative menus, and ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of excellence.
Duties
Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food preparation.
Develop and design seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to create a seamless dining experience for guests.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food handling, and kitchen management practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Implement cost control measures to minimize waste while maximizing quality.
