DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing the SAP Material Management (MM) module to meet our organizational needs. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.Key job responsibilities

Analyze and understand the client's business requirements related to materials management processes, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management, and material requirements planning.

Design and configure the SAP MM module to meet the client's specific business needs, including setting up organizational structures, material master data, purchasing processes, inventory valuation methods, and warehouse management processes.

Customize and develop SAP MM solutions, including user exits, ABAP programs, and enhancements, to address any gaps between standard SAP functionality and client requirements.

Implement Procure to Pay (P2P), Inventory Management, Tracking, Batch & Serialization, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supplier Management, Subcontracting, Contract Manufacturing, Consigned Inventory processes in SAP S4/HANA

Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the correct configuration and functionality of the SAP MM module.

Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP MM processes and functionalities.

Collaborate with other SAP functional consultants (e.g., FI, SD, PP) to ensure seamless integration and data flow between different modules.

Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.

Document configurations, customizations, and best practices for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.

7+ years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP MM module, preferably in similar industry verticals.

Thorough understanding of materials management processes, including inventory management, purchasing, warehouse management, and material requirements planning.

Functional knowledge of SAP MM and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD, PP).

Experience in managing inter-company Stock Transport Orders, Stock Transfers, Transfer orders, Physical Inventory, Scrap Management, Material Valuation, Workflow Approvals and Vendor Invoicing and Verification.

Experience in integrating inbound and outbound processes with third-party logistics providers, using EDI framework - 850, 855, 856, 867, 940, 945, 810 for PO, PO change, Advance Shipping Notification, Warehouse shipping, Inventory movements, and Invoice transactions.

Experience in customizing and developing SAP MM solutions using ABAP programming and enhancements.

Familiarity with industry-specific best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements related to materials management.

Preferred Qualifications

Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Experience in planning, development, implementation, and end-to-end life cycle of at least 2-3 complex large-scale enterprise transformations.

At least three (3) years of S/4 HANA experience.

Certification in SAP MM (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Materials Management) is preferred but not always mandatory.

The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market.
