Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during overnight hours while maintaining the highest standards of guest satisfaction and hospitality. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impression on our guests while ensuring the accuracy and security of our hotel's financial records.
Duties
- Provide exceptional guest relations and services to ensure a welcoming and comfortable stay for our guests.
- Manage the front desk during overnight hours, responding to guest inquiries, and addressing any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct thorough night audits to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions, including cash handling and balancing.
- Operate and maintain our phone systems, including answering and directing phone calls as necessary.
- Ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed, including those related to guest services, room assignments, and security.
- Monitor and control hotel assets, including keys, supplies, and equipment.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front desk or guest services role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in phone systems and front desk software.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are an asset.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to perform night audits accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with hotel reservation software like Visual Matrix.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5+ years of Hotel experience
