As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence. You’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen operations, mentoring team members, and delivering the exceptional dining experience Roy’s is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory, and food preparation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal and innovative menu offerings.
Monitor food and labor costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a high-volume, fine dining or upscale casual kitchen.
Passion: A deep love for culinary arts and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Skills: Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and menu development.
Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
