DescriptionPosition Overview:ProAmpac is seeking a project coordinator who ensures operational efficiency throughout the sales process, in order to grow new and existing business, while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will work closely with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Product Development to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin as a Team. The project coordinator also assists customers by answering questions and resolving problems. Responds to RFPs with a high degree of detail and in a timely manner. Negotiates on price, service, and terms. Communicates with customers and internal suppliers to provide product or service quotations and lead times.

Maintain a project list with details and updates.

Performs follow up on projects once quote has been submitted.

Be central point of contact for assigned projects for both internal and external questions.

Respond to customer inquiries either written or verbal in a timely manner including pricing ensuring documentation of all conversations.

Responds to incoming customer calls and inquiries regarding our product offering; dependent on size of opportunity, develops relationship to cultivate new and existing business as Project Coordinator or refers customer to appropriate National Account Manager.

Works closely with Sales, Product Development, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure pricing updates/changes are communicated to the proper group.

Provide product knowledge to customers within the realm of training provided.

Performs adequate handoff with customer service at purchase order receipt.

Report food safety concerns.

Seek out opportunities to improve customer relations with the goal of continuous improvement for ProAmpac Rochester.

Food Safety– Maintain a focus on food safety at all times, as outlined in our GMP policy under the guidance of SQF requirements.

Comply with all company policies, and all quality, environmental, health and safety policies as well as any regulatory or statutory requirements related to the position.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

Associate Degree or equivalent

1-2 years project experience

Ability to effectively manage customer relationships, promptly, respond to inquiries, ensure expectations are kept and managed.

Successfully manage a client base with competitive strengths, strategic planning and strong time-management skills.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Occasional travel may be required.

This position requires on-site work, with attendance at our facility being necessary.

Work Environment:Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required.This role operates in a professional office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
