As a member of the Communications team, you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing strategic, world-class communications in support of company priorities. What You Will Do

Leads the strategy, execution and analysis of cross-business unit and strategic business unit marketing communications campaigns, regularly coordinating and interfacing with senior leaders, matrixed business teams and product marketing teams.

Supports development of and maintains communications deliverables (talking points, key messages, prep packages, featured content; speeches, news releases, holding statements, etc.) in partnership with business leadership and communications centers of expertise (COEs) in support of communications strategies.

Collaborates across RTX global communications centers of expertise including brand and marketing, channels and content, business communications, employee engagement, public relations and government affairs, to develop campaigns that contribute to business objectives.

Leverages data and industry benchmarking to track, advance and continuously improve communications campaign(s.).

Works with team to identify and prepare leaders and subject matter experts for external speaking opportunities.

Supports the messaging and execution of industry trade shows and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaigns – including media, social media, customer testimonials and meetings with communications counterparts to build and advance relationships.

Ensures all communications projects are clearly identified, align with strategic goals, thoughtfully planned to meet desired outcomes and executed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations or related field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.

Previous experience delivering strategic marketing communications plans for matrixed organizations.

Proven experience delivering data-driven outcomes using traditional and non-traditional communication platforms, including print, electronic, social media, video and industry events.

Previous project management experience.

Previous experience using strategies to solve problems.

Previous experience delivering excellent written, oral and e-communication skills, specifically in a virtual environment.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Previous experience collaborating with functional team members and diverse business stakeholder groups.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities on tight deadlines.

Location

While this role is eligible for remote work, there is a preference for the candidate to work local to or hybrid from a main Communications hub: Charlotte, NC, Cedar Rapids, IA, Farmington, CT.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
