Production – Fabrication/Installation Specialist I

Required Duties:

Execute fabrication/installation of signage and graphics as they are processed and completed. This includes working with Production – Digital Print Specialists for desired project set up that include in-house or third-party installation. Reports directly to the Production Manager.

Manage stock inventory and supplies as determined by Management. Goals are to keep minimum usable quantities in stock, ordering as necessary and manage residual scraps.

Assist with printing/cutting of processed graphics as required by due date.

Perform maintenance of production equipment as specified by Production Manager – Oce Arizona 2380XT, Colorado 1650, Summa S160 cutter, the Zund G-3 2500L cutter among other equipment available. Perform maintenance to ensure that all equipment is used properly based on daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance schedules as recommended by equipment vendors.

Keep personal work area, shop area and all shop spaces clean and organized.

Present a positive, helpful attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times.

Generate profitable sales leads wherever/whenever possible.

Be willing and open to perform other duties as they may be assigned.

Required/Preferred Skills:

Handyman skills and experience helpful – ability to use a variety of hand tools, utilize experience and critical thinking to fabricate and install signage and other promotional products sold by the Company.

Ability to learn and execute sign manufacturing and installation basics.

Ability to operate plotters, digital printers and laminators.

Must be detail-oriented – striving for the highest quality.

Good mathematical skills are required – the ability to measure (using a ruler or tape measure) and calculate.

Ability to follow directions and work independently – dependable, self-motivated and organized.

Working knowledge of computers and design software helpful.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Possess a professional demeanor and appearance.

Positive attitude towards work, customers and co-workers.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Good driving record - A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Maintain regular & timely attendance.
