Condominium Association Manager
The following are desired skills for the ideal candidate: experience in managing multiple condominium associations; certification as a commercial property manager (CPM®, RPA®, etc.) preferred, but not required; ability to supervise staff; accounting experience, (including A/R, A/P and general ledger knowledge); ability to communicate effectively; have the ability to solve problems, ability to work well under pressure, self-motivated and self-directed, ability to work with/without direct supervision and the ability to develop a team and be a team leader.
FUNCTIONS:
1) Responsible to plan, implement and monitor operations, profitability, quality service,
tenant and client relations for multiple associations.
2) Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the physical asset.
3) Oversee employees and contractors.
4) Assures adherence to specifications (contractual; operations manual).
5) Conducts formal site inspections of building interior and exterior common elements.
6) Makes recommendations for capital repairs and/or replacements.
7) Financial Reporting and controls.
8) Interface with condo Board and unit owners on day-to-day basis regarding maintenance, complaints and problems
relating to service and lease provisions and any other issues as necessary.
9) Responsible for fee collections at each assigned property. Contact unit owners by phone, letter or
in person as necessary.
10) OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Hours of Work: Basic schedule includes, but is not limited to, 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday, , but available to attend nightly condo board meetings, Must be on call 24/7/365.
Experience: Presently or previously employed with a property management company as an assistant
manager or managing Condominium associations for a minimum of three years.
Education: Two years of college; CPM® and/or RPA® designation preferred but not required. Related
business experience a plus.
Applicant must have a reliable vehicle to perform various management tasks and errands. Applicant
must have proof of liability insurance for same. Applicant must be bondable and have a valid Driver’s
License.
