Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager

Bilingual Speaking; English /Spanish

Part-time (Hourly): Monday-Friday, 18-20 Hrs.

1) 5 Days 4 Hours Per Day 8 AM - 12:00 PM or 1 PM to 5 PM

2) 3 Days 6 Hours Per Day Monday, Wednesday, Friday

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will have prior inventory experience, superior attention to detail, and numeric competencies.

A Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver assists in overseeing and maintaining a supply of products and ingredients. Keeping track of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and assisting in the unloading and processing of deliveries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Inventory Clerk

Do Cycle Counts inventory

Maintains logs of all products and supplies.

Checks actual inventory against computerized records.

Report any discrepancies in inventory records to management.

Assists in unloading inventory from delivery trucks.

Files all delivery and inventory receipts.

Uses inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supply.

Writes up inventory reports detailing any overstock or missing items

Assists in cleaning and organizing the warehouse.

Submits orders for replenishment of inventory.

Reviews shipping and receiving documents for accuracy.

Assists management in devising new ways to reduce shrink and maintain inventory control.

Buying with whole sellers for the best possible price.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

California Drivers license

Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

Pays close attention to detail.

Possesses physical strength necessary to lift boxes/pipes and other heavy items on a regular basis.

Is capable of using computer inventory software.

Exhibits ability to read and interpret inventory reports, sales reports, and packing slips.

Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Works well with a team.

Manages time efficiently.

Possesses broad knowledge of the range of store products and services.

Is capable of employing basic math skills.

Communicates clearly and effectively.

Demonstrates professional and polite demeanor with customers.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience in the warehouse and/or inventory sector is preferred.

Additional time may be spent in the office processing paperwork and using computerized inventory software.

Able to lift 75 pounds without restrictions.

Bilingual -English/Spanish beneficial.
