Sr Advanced Engineering Support Specialist – Technical Writer DocumentationBe part of an engineering team that is defining the future of Honeywell Control Systems Motion Control products. You will work closely with internal customers, primarily Project Engineering, to support creation and development of documentation deliverables to external customers. Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIdentification, collection, creation, process, edit, create, and management of program technical data items i.e. technical documentation [ex. test plans, acceptance procedures, test reports, similarity reports, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Subcontract Data Requirement List (SDRL), Product Specifications (PSC), etc.]. Manages contractual data item submittals and reporting to internal and external customers (i.e. agencies and customers).
Working with Project Engineering to plan, organize, edit, and create technical documents, specifications, and reports in accordance with contractual requirements.
Identifies, compiles, creates, and tracks progress of contract data item submittals to customers including plans, reports, specifications, documents, drawings, schematics, models, procedures, presentations, analyses for project and program execution.
Coordinates and expedites the release of technical documents/data items into Teamcenter in cooperation with Configuration Management to ensure on-time delivery of contractual data item submittals to Honeywell customers.
Coordination with program personnel, such as, Program Management, Project Engineering, and Configuration Management.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, business, or mathematics
5+ years of experience as a Copy Editor and/or a Technical Writer with practical/applied experience using Microsoft Word and Adobe to perform Documentation Management activities
WE VALUE
Experience as a Technical Writer (experienced as an information communicator whose task is to transfer information between two or more parties, through any medium that best facilitates the transfer and comprehension of the information)
Experience as a Copy Editor (experience reviewing for clarity and readability as well as flow, grammar, word usage, spelling, and punctuation. They read your writing to focus on syntax, word repetition, and sentence/paragraph length
Experience working with Teamcenter
Experience working with/on military or government contracts
Experience in implementing process improvements
