Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs.  Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders  throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.  The Lead AR associate is responsible for ensuring that jobs move smoothly within and from the AR department.  The Lead also ensures that lenses are properly coated.  Duties include:Lead associates by ensuring they stay on task and are in the proper place for optimal workflowTrain new associates according to the department's Supervisor and work with the AR Supervisor to review, monitor and improve performance and environment in the departmentOperates AR coating machineReview job tickets for routing and separate jobs for different departmentsVisually pre-inspecting lenses, load into sectors and machine, remove and return lenses properly to trays, matching numbers Visually inspect lenses to ensure ANSI standards are metAssisting Supervisor as needed with reports, monitoring work flow and key production metrics, staging, locating expedited jobs and overall department operation to minimize breakage and efficiently process job orders
