As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated Executive Pastry Chef to join our team and help lead the charge in crafting extraordinary pastries that elevate our culinary offerings. Job Description: As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will oversee all aspects of pastry and dessert production, from menu development to daily operations. You will lead and inspire a team of pastry chefs/bakers, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and innovation. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires an expert knowledge of pastry techniques, creativity, and a passion for delivering excellence. You will also work closely with the culinary and management teams to continuously refine and evolve our pastry program, maintaining a strong brand identity while meeting the evolving needs of our growing clientele. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of pastry chefs and bakers, ensuring productivity, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of pastry preparation and presentation. Menu Development: Create and design pastry menus that are delicious, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand’s vision and customer expectations. Regularly update and introduce new offerings. Quality Control: Oversee the production of all pastries and desserts to ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation. Ensure that all products meet high culinary standards. Training & Development: Train and develop pastry staff on new techniques, product standards, and safety protocols. Foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture. Cost Management: Manage inventory and ordering for pastry ingredients while maintaining food cost control. Develop and execute cost-effective processes while minimizing waste. Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef, culinary team, and management to align pastry offerings with overall restaurant or event concepts. Innovation: Stay current on pastry trends and culinary innovations, incorporating new techniques and flavor profiles into the offerings. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Executive/Head Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef, or in a senior pastry role within a high-volume, upscale establishment. Exceptional knowledge of modern and traditional pastry techniques, dessert trends, and industry standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop a team. Creative, detail-oriented, and able to think outside the box when it comes to pastry design and flavor combinations. Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
