Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Fuel Accountant in Dallas, Texas. As a Fuel Accountant, your primary role will be to manage the daily activities of supplier and customer account management, process high volume accounting data across multiple systems, and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure timely payments to vendors, collections from customers, and prompt identification and resolution of any issues related to payables and receivables.Responsibilities: Manage supplier and customer account management processes daily, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and effectively Handle high volume accounting information transfer across multiple systems Build and maintain relationships with internal colleagues and external vendors and customers Ensure timely payment to vendors and collection from customers Identify and resolve issues that could cause aged payables and receivables in the system Analyze financial results, providing detailed insights that contribute to the success of the company Work professionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, responding to changes with a solution-oriented attitude Proactively learn the workings of multiple systems, taking personal ownership of your development and learning Maintain productive relationships through proactive and effective communication Collaborate with internal channels to improve processes and procedures in the best interest of the company Handle stressful situations professionally, achieving the best outcomes with a solution-oriented approach. Requirements Proficiency in General Ledger management, with a focus on accuracy and detail. Experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions align with bank statements. Skilled in conducting Bank Reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Expertise in Cash Reconciliations, checking that cash amounts in accounting records are equivalent to the actual bank balance. Ability to prepare Adjusting Journal Entries, adjusting the company's books to reflect accurate financial activities. Experience in creating Journal Entries, documenting all business transactions. Proficiency in Journal Entry Preparation, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner. Experience with Month-end Journal Entries, ensuring all financial transactions for the month have been accurately recorded. Familiarity with Month End Close processes, ensuring all financial reports are completed and submitted on time. Proficiency in using SAP software for accounting and financial management activities.
