Position Overview We seek an experienced Executive Chef to maintain our established success and lead our kitchen team. The position will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality in food preparation and presentation while maintaining strict cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has an unwavering commitment to cleanliness, and excels in managing expenses to keep labor and food costs low. This role focuses on upholding our existing menu and sustaining the excellence that our guests have come to expect. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations in a high-volume setting (500+ covers), ensuring consistent execution of our established menu. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Enforce strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations. Financial Management: Aggressively manage food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals. Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and reduce expenses. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency without compromising quality. Team Leadership: Schedule, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all kitchen activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Implement and monitor food safety practices to guarantee guest and staff well-being. Other duties as assigned. Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, fine dining establishment. Proven expertise in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Detail-oriented with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards. Proficient in managing budgets, food costs, and labor expenses. Attributes Uncompromising commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
