Proposal Manager

Your New RoleOur Capture Management team within the Leidos AU Growth Office have a new opportunity for a Proposal Manager to manage all phases of proposals.As a Proposal Manager, you are responsible for the submission of compliant and compelling Tender responses. Working closely with the Capture Manager and the Business Development Team, you will be shaping the future of our business, whilst working in a fast paced and high performing team.To be successful in this role, you must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure all customer requirements and business objectives are met whilst maintaining a Healthy competitive environment to drive the proposal to winning position.   The key responsibilities of Proposal Manager are:Clearly communicate the capture team’s plans, methods, and vision to all stakeholders and use the Wall of Truth to establish writing guidanceWork closely with the Proposal Coordinator on all proposal plans, schedules, and directionMeet with authors individually to review their section structure and content, and make suggestions to improve their productRegularly read all proposal sections to ensure consistency and support of high-level win themesRequire proposal authors to adhere to instructions and all guidance, and make timely assignment changes if necessaryUses different ways to collaborate and interface with SMEs (e.g., interviews, research, drafted responses for SME review, analysis, and feedback of SME writing)Leads Daily Stand Ups producing action items and tracking actions to closureEnsure daily stand ups are short and focused on issues, progress and actions, table lengthy discussion for separate meetingsSchedules proposal milestones, to include a Kick-off, AMU Review, IDR Review, Red Team Review, BRR and Final Content Check Delivery Plan Review, Final Content Review, and Final Compliance Check.Creates final production plans working with a coordinator.
