The position is responsible for managing approximately 5 direct reports and will be reporting directly to the Senior AR Manager. The AR Manager will be leading team members who ensure all billing, credits and refunds for multiple product lines are processed accurately and in a timely manner, focusing on accuracy while maintaining established SLAs. The ideal candidate is a hands-on type self-starter who has prior experience leading within Accounts Receivable and who learns quickly and has the ability to evaluate current processes and recommends more efficient methods while maintaining financial integrity and SOX controls.What you’ll do:
Hire and train new staff members
Set proper expectations by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; effectively communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions and adhering to policies and procedures
Manage a team of 4-6 employees in a high volume department
Accomplish AR department objectives by evaluating and improving processes and making required changes in line with best practices and creating better efficiencies, including recommendations for system improvements
Guide employee actions by researching, developing, and updating processes as needed
Process Billing Batches in Salesforce, as well as oversee manual billing to ensure customers are invoiced correctly and in a timely manner
Approve Finance related cases in Salesforce related to credits and/or refunds, while leveraging multiple systems to execute due-diligence prior to approval
Use judgment to re-prioritize staff workloads in line with business needs
Work on issues requiring the analysis of data, relevant factors and resolve problems
Partner with leaders from other departments as needed to accomplish goals and gain cooperation of others
Other projects as assigned

5+ years Accounts Receivable or related experience
Minimum 2 years of prior management experience
Bachelor's degree required
Team player, ability to gain trust from direct reports and peers
Excellent verbal/written communication, especially since team is on a hybrid schedule
