Responsible to work with internal leadership as well as key business stakeholders and customers to establish strategic customer goals to deliver value, savings and process efficiencies to MD Anderson.Principal management of the crucial customer relationship management (CRM) program, coordinating complex and critical projects in the Supply Chain Management. Responsible for work plans, sourcing initiative tracking and reporting, key customer coordination and communication on supply chain activities and initiatives. Work in collaboration with sourcing team management to oversee the CRM aspect of sourcing activities, contracting process, communication, change management, and project management within assigned customer groups and stakeholders.Demonstrate knowledge of end-to-end sourcing and contracting processes as well as end-to-end supply chain processes in order to lead development of annual strategic sourcing calendars for supply chain and customers.Successful candidates will have considerable experience and familiarity with SRM and CRM. Must have impeccable analytical reasoning, and critical thinking abilities with a strong aptitude for relationship building and problem resolution. Strong written and verbal communication needs to interact effectively with decision makers throughout MD Anderson.Key Functions· Directs efforts between key customers and various Supply Chain Management teams. Assists in developing a multi-year work plan to align supply chain initiatives to key customer groups and stakeholder goals. Collaborates with customers to prioritize opportunities. Engages the appropriate supply chain leaders and their respective teams to deliver the value outlined in work plans. Use and develop business cases and financial modeling to understand total cost of ownership and its impact on demand and utilization management· Serves as primary single point of contact (SPoC) on behalf of Supply Chain Management and key strategic suppliers. Monitors, evaluates and manages performance and overall relationship of key suppliers. Participate in and defines key measures and metrics for supplier business reviews (processes and templates). Works with business leadership to implement business reviews and business plans with the key strategic suppliers. Work with Supply Chain Management Finance to monitor supply risk. Drives continuous improvement plans with suppliers and ensures that executive level relationships exist between supplier and MD Anderson where appropriate such that value can be optimized.· Provides industry insights and marketplace understanding to stakeholders and other senior leadership for assigned portfolio. Provides product, service and category expertise to stakeholders and other senior leadership for assigned portfolio. Ensures that sourcing strategies are consistent with stakeholder's strategies and objectives. Ensures that distribution/logistics strategies proposed by supply chain operations departments are consistent with stakeholder's strategies and objectives.· Leads stakeholder-facing implementation, project planning, and communications planning efforts for Supply Chain Management Initiatives. Tracks value and generates insightful reports for stakeholders and end users.· Guides key customer groups and stakeholders to ensure they are aware of policies, procedures, compliance guidelines, and sourcing and contracts and standards. Work collaboratively with Supply Chain Management departments to implement processes to manage new product introductions, new product innovations and new technology throughout the contract portfolio. Influences compliance to preferred suppliers and to product standards throughout the institution.· Participates in the management of contractual obligations and contract expiration requirements/dates. Serves as an escalation point between MD Anderson customers and suppliers. Participate in supplier legal regulatory/compliance tracking and dispute resolution processes.· Acts as a liaison between assigned staff and other teams. This would include other Supply Chain Management departments including Finance, Systems and Support, Materials Management. Reconcile contract issues, GPO issues, and participate in supplier business meetings.Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Finance, Operations or other related field.Required Experience:Five years of experience in supply chain sourcing, supplier relationship management/customer relationship management, or project management.Preferred Experience:Healthcare, public sector background. Sourcing, contracting, procurement experience. Facilitation Skills: comfortable leading large meetings/discussions with executive level attendees. Creative self starter: ability to work with ambiguous, undefined processes utilizing critical thinking skills. Technical skills: adept at working with MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to visualize data and information.
