Administrative Assistant
OVERVIEW:
The GSHF Admin Specialist assists the GSHF Assistant Executive Director with clerical and administrative duties and assumes all responsibilities associated with carrying out the mission and goals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, ensuring efficient office management, and providing excellent customer support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather document information for HUD Grants,
Monthly data entry and reports to DSS
Researching and organizing data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.
Assist with setting up appointments for potential clients to come into the office to complete intake and admission documents.
Assist current clients with changes to housing, completing their annual assessments.
Enter client intake applications into the county database.
Maintain relationships with apartment complexes and/or private landlord contacts.
Send out reminder notices to clients.
Maintain Petty Cash receipts and check requests.
Process payments and make monthly deposits
Manage the foundation donor base's collection lists and modify any changes.
Maintain a list of current donors; send “Thank-you” letters to donors.
Create brochures, newsletters, and marketing documents for foundation programs.
Perform receptionist duties (which include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, greeting clients and allied professionals, and directing them to the appropriate program).
Other office tasks as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience with relevant administrative support experience.
In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite. Additional understanding of WordPress, a plus.
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
Professional level verbal and written communication skills.
Property Management skills a plus
Job Type: Part-time Tuesday-Thursday
Pay: $17 per hour
