The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.Key Responsibilities: One of our premier clients is seeking an experienced IT Test Lead to oversee testing activities for a comprehensive SAP S/4HANA implementation at a manufacturing company specializing in medical products. The successful candidate will ensure the quality and functionality of the system meet business requirements, driving excellence across the testing lifecycle in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Test Strategy and PlanningDevelop and document a comprehensive test strategy, including objectives, scope, tools, and schedules, tailored to the SAP S/4HANA implementation.Create and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test cases to validate business processes, technical integrations, and system performance.Execution and OversightLead end-to-end testing efforts, including  Unit Testing, Systems Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.Coordinate test execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and milestones.Identify and document test defects, working closely with developers and functional consultants to resolve issues.Collaboration and LeadershipPartner with business stakeholders, 3rd party consultants, and the project management office to understand requirements and align testing activities.Provide leadership and mentorship to the testing team, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities and reporting.Tools and TechnologyUtilize testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, JIRA, or similar platforms for test management and defect tracking.Ensure effective use of automation tools, where applicable, to streamline repetitive testing tasks.Compliance and Quality AssuranceEnsure all testing activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO), and company quality management protocols.Validate system functionality against defined user requirements and ensure traceability of test cases to business processes.Risk ManagementProactively identify risks related to testing scope, resources, or timelines and recommend mitigation strategies.Facilitate test status reviews and issue resolution meetings with project stakeholders.
