Journeyman Finish Carpenter

Our position is for a Journeyman-level Finish Carpenter, not an apprentice.

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Journeyman to join our high-quality residential and commercial construction team. We work mainly in the North Kona and the Kohala areas. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications.

Able to install doors, cabinets, and trim with minimal oversight.

Ability to lift 75 lbs. and physical stamina for working at various heights and tight spaces.

Ownership of and ability to operate both hand and power tools is a requirement of a Journeyman.

You are dependable, professional, and competent enough to work independently if the task dictates.

Able to read blueprints for new builds and remodel houses.

Take pride in your craftsmanship, communication, commitment, and dedication to the team.

Have good Math skills and even better problem-solver.

Job Requirements

You have and wear the required PPE and know the proper use of carpentry trade tools.

You have excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

You are punctual and have reliable transportation.

You are capable of receiving and following instructions.

You currently live in Hawaii County.

You have a current valid HI State driver’s license, auto registration, and auto insurance.

You must be able to work Full-time Monday through Friday, with the occasional opportunity for overtime.
