$17-$19/HR Meat Butcher Needed in Vernon, CA

A well-established food manufacturing company looking for a meat trimmer.

Requirements:

Trim, clean, slice, and cut raw meat to prepare for packing

Uses knives and other equipment to perform trimming

Sharpen and clean own knives as needed and use personal protective equipment to ensure safety.

Able to stand and perform manual lifting

Verify that each item meets the quality standards of the company

Rotate to other job duties in the department depending on needs

Ability to work with cold materials in a cold environment

Follow all safety regulations and support others in working safely

Skills:

Basic knife skills

Must be able to work weekends and OT

Ability to lift 60lbs without restrictions

Must be able to work in cold environment 30-35 degrees(up to 10 degrees in freezer)

Able to stand and perform manual lifting.

Must Be Bilingual in English and Spanish

Schedule: 1st / 4AM – 12:30PM

Pay: starting: $17-19/HR
