Seeking Busser and Food Runner Expeditor

We are a French Brasserie located in Closter Plaza, We are currently seeking bussers and food runners that will provide Guests with the highest level of consistent, professional and courteous service.

Goals for our Team Members are:

To provide High Quality, Personable service to our guests at all times

Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.

To promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment.

Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant at all times

Respond positively to any requests.

Responsibilities- Busser

-Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.

-Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food, and providing any additional support as needed.

-Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.

-Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.

-Ensure that all utensils, glassware, and dishes are properly polished and organized.

-Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service operations.

-Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Responsibilities- Food Runner

-Prompt delivery of food to guests as the order is completed and ready for service in the kitchen.

-Must be willing and able to:

-Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of food presentation according to standing operating procedure

-Properly understand table numbers, seat\ position numbers, and menu items

- Be able to read and understand the kitchen tickets in relation to delivering the proper items to the proper table.

- Be able to identify and answer questions about different components of dishes

-Communicate with guest clearly, patiently, courteously and with good humor

-Communicate effectively with co-workers

-Promptly carry food from the kitchen to any table in the restaurant for an entire shift

-Complete all side work when and as assigned

-Comprehend and acquire appropriate items (garnishes, accompaniments, sauces and utensils) to complete a particular order for delivery
