Working Student (m/f/d) - Global Sourcing

Start date: As soon as possibleDuration: 12 – 24 MonthsWorking hours: 20 h/week, fulltime during lecture free period possible Department: Outdoor & BBQYou'll support the Global Sourcing Expert in their daily work:As part of our team, you will be actively involved in the sourcing and procurement processes. Together with the team in Düsseldorf you will work with international suppliers to serve the different Metro countries subsidiaries.In particular, you will be involved in communication with the suppliers, requesting and analysing offers, preparing and managing tender processes, comparing samples, supporting the development of packaging and tracking supplier delivery performance, Review & Optimize the article master data in our internal system.You support the improvement of procurement processes and quality of our service. You will get insights of several departments like sourcing, packaging, design, quality, Own Brand Management and supply chain.
