Immigration Paralegal

We are seeking an Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys for immigration petitions, particularly focusing on National Interest Waiver (NIW) and EB-1 categories. We highly value strong writing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents to support attorneys in case preparation and analysis.

Prepare immigrant/nonimmigrant visa applications, e.g. EB-1A and NIW, H1B, L1, O1, PERM, family-based, and other types of applications.

Draft persuasive legal documents, including affidavits, briefs, and legal memos, particularly for employment-based immigration categories such as EB-1A and NIW.

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates on case status, and respond to inquiries under the guidance of attorneys.

Assist in managing case files, organizing documents, and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with deadlines.

Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff, including photocopying, filing, and scheduling appointments.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (a law degree is not required but considered a plus).

Exceptional writing and editing skills; strong research skills to independently gather and analyze information.

1 year experience in immigration law is preferred.

Mandarin Chinese language is required.

Ability to work effectively with attorneys and team members.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
