Job Description:

As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by handling dishwashing duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including equipment and utensils.

- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools.

- Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are sanitized and stored properly.

- Assist chefs and cooks with additional food preparation tasks as needed.

- Monitor inventory levels of vegetables and meats and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.

- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards at all times.

- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and kitchen.

Requirements:

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide proof of eligibility.

- Prior experience as a vegetable and meat cutter in a restaurant or similar setting is required.

- Experience in dishwashing or kitchen cleaning is a plus.

- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and handle repetitive tasks.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in an Indian or ethnic cuisine restaurant.

- Familiarity with cutting and preparing a variety of vegetables and meats used in Indian cuisine.

- Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment.
