Job Description:

As a Vegetable and Meat Cutter Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for preparing vegetables and meats according to our recipes and standards, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as per restaurant specifications.

- Cut, trim, and portion meats according to recipe requirements.

- Ensure all food items are prepared and stored in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including equipment and utensils.

- Assist chefs and cooks with additional food preparation tasks as needed.

- Monitor inventory levels of vegetables and meats and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.

- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times.

Requirements:

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide proof of eligibility.

- Prior experience as a vegetable and meat cutter in a restaurant or similar setting is required.

- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
