Diesel Mechanic Full-Time

Eau Claire Diesel Service is actively searching for an experienced Diesel Mechanic for their growing diesel repair business in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Position Description:

Diagnosing issues and repairing diesel engines and vehicles.

Disassemble, reassemble, and inspect vehicles for worn and damaged components.

Create a quote for the customer before proceeding with repairs.

Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience is preferred.

A basic set of tools. Specialty tools provided by the shop.

An excellent understanding of basic diesel principles and parts schematics.

Accurately diagnose and repair components.

Complete repairs in a timely manner.

Excellent computer skills and the ability to read and follow technical data.

Maintain a clean working environment.

Some repairs include but not limited to:

o Injection pump removal and installation

o Injector removal and installation

o Turbo removal and installation

o Engine component removal and installation

o Light duty truck repairs

o Small equipment repairs
