Diesel Technician
We specialize in re-manufacturing heavy-duty diesel engines for the transportation industry. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Diesel Engine Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and re-manufacturing diesel engines, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety and a passion for delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues, including fuel systems, electrical components, and exhaust systems.
Perform engine re-manufacturing, including disassembly, inspection, machining, and reassembly of components.
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal engine performance and efficiency.
Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and recommend effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations in compliance with company and industry standards.
Collaborate with team members and provide technical support as needed.
Stay updated on emerging diesel technologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:
Five or more years of experience as a diesel technician, preferably in engine re-manufacturing or heavy-duty vehicle repair.
Must have own tools.
Strong understanding of diesel engine principles and concepts.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair manuals, and technical schematics.
Any experience with OEM computer programs is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift heavy components and work in physically demanding environments.
