Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician

Job Description

CSI Geo, Inc (CSI Geo) is hiring for an experienced Senior Construction Materials Technician that currently holds ACI and FDOT Concrete Field Inspector Certification, and Earthworks Level I and Level II certification. Other FDOT CTQP certifications such as asphalt paving inspection, pile driving inspection, and drilled shaft inspection are also desired.

Job Responsibilities

Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt,

and steel). Job sites are located in North Florida Area.

Communicate with project manager, engineering technicians, client representative, contractor’s representative and others regarding

the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results.

Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.

Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily

transmittal to the CSI Geo Project Manager.

Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.

Adhere to strict safety standards.

Job Requirements

Prior experience in Construction Materials Testing

American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP) certifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history, pass background check and drug screening

Ability to lift 75 pounds
