Position: Shipping and Receiving Claim Technician
City: Redlands, CA
Range of Pay: $18.50-$18.75
Shift: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:40 pm
Type: Temporary to Possible Hire
Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, identifying, and sorting deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspects, measures, and records all details about labor claims.
Basic familiarity with automotive components and systems.
Ability to meet productivity goals with limited supervision.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Utilizes available resources to determine the root cause of product failure.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Basic to Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to read and understand technical product specifications and drawings.
Experience using and reading precision measuring tools.
Qualifications:
Preferred but not required: 1-2 years of automotive knowledge or experience.
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse order picking.
Knowledge of vehicle parts, including automotive fitment, OEM, and aftermarket differences, is a plus.
Forklift experience and prior certification preferred.
