GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY
We are seeking a detailed-oriented administrative assistant to support our Contract, Licensing & Commission department in Monrovia, CA. This entry-level position requires strong organization skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist our life agents in obtaining contracts, appointments, and commission with various carriers
Ensure our life agents follow local, state, and federal laws to be in compliance
Act as a liaison between agents and insurance carriers, ensure both interests are properly represented
Maintain database or e-filing and keep all agents’ contact information up to date
Ensure round-the-clock contracts are available to corresponding agents
Obtaining our life insurance agents production report in a timely manner
Other clerical duties requested by the Contract, Licensing & Commission Manager
Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
Perform other tasks as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is required.
At least 1 year experience in office administration.
Professional phone etiquette, positive attitude, and high level of patience in customer service.
Demonstrate excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
