Industrial Hose Shop Looking To Expand Operations

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for generating sales via inbound phone calls, serving walk-in customers promptly and providing customer satisfaction throughout the sales process using product knowledge and timely courteous service. You will be the face of Force Flex Hose.

SECONDARY FUNCTION:

Perform shipping/receiving duties, order picking, and make deliveries to customers in company provided vehicle and fabricate hose assemblies.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with absolute professionalism

Responsible for assisting front counter customers including inspection of worn or damaged/defective parts, determine correct replacement parts, troubleshoot, and suggest products and prices to best fit application or replace with exact parts that are new

Maintain clean organized retail area, bathroom and replenish stock product as needed

Generate quotes, enter orders, track orders as necessary through the CRM system

Conduct Shipping & Receiving duties as needed to ensure accuracy of inventory received and order picking for call in customers

Attend vendor provided product training and seminars when available

Work Saturdays from 8am - 12 as part of a rotation schedule w/ bonus provided

Work with others to create a positive team environment

Other duties assigned as needed

Actively seeks additional sales opportunities

Qualifications

Successful candidate will possess:

Must have the ability to lift 50lbs continuously and without restrictions.

1 year of experience in the hose industry with mechanical and manufacturing or similar background desired.

Previous forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Willing to learn and teach as required to get the job done.

Must be attentive to detail.

Completes work assignments in a timely manner.

Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule.

Shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.

MUST BE WILLING TO GET DIRTY AND GREASY (UNIFORM PROVIDED)

MUST BE KEYBOARD LITERATE AND COMPUTER PROFICIENT

MUST BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE AND SPEAK ENGLISH CLEARLY

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

MUST HAVE A HIGHSCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED EQUIVILENT

MUST HAVE SOME BACKGROUND IN SALES, RESTAURANT WORK, AND/OR A MECHANICAL APPTITUDE

MUST BE WILLING TO ACCEPT A 40 HOUR WORK WEEK
