Tank and Libby’s is a well-established breakfast and lunch restaurant with over six years of successful operation. We are proud to have received numerous awards and consistently rank highly on various restaurant review platforms. We are currently seeking experienced lead line cooks to join our skilled and accomplished team, specifically to manage our high-volume egg or grill station.

This full-time position requires a chef with a minimum of five years' high-volume kitchen experience, capable of performing efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and dependable.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes according to specified recipes, including omelets, eggs benedict, and various breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Open and set up the station, perform service duties, and break down and clean the station after use.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the day, complying with food safety protocols.

Ensure product quality and freshness by creating daily prep lists and maintaining appropriate par levels.

Qualifications/skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required, culinary degree is preferred

At least 3 years of experience, preferably in cooking à la carte breakfast and lunch in a restaurant, hotel, or resort with a focus on egg preparation and various techniques

Understanding of all cooking methods, ability to read kitchen checks, follow recipes, and good knife skills

Ability to perform tasks with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail

Highly organized, self-motivated, quick thinker dedicated to the craft

Ability to thrive in a high-volume restaurant and remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Able to stand for long periods, bend, stretch, and lift heavy materials

Work Hours/Benefits:

Five-day work week (Wednesday-Sunday), 40 hours with two days off; overtime at time and a half.

Shifts start between 6:00am-7:30am and end between 2:00pm-3:00pm, busiest on weekends.
