Manufacturing Production Associate - Outdoor Industry

PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

This is an opportunity to learn unique manufacturing skills while working with a highly regarded local company.

SCHEDULE

Production teams work on 10-hr shifts, Monday through Thursday, with an AM or PM shift option. Every other Friday may possibly be required OT to keep up with demand growth, but this was designed to offer our employees biweekly 3-day weekends!

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE LOOK LIKE?

Building the Sage fly rods, individuals learn and engage in the various tasks and processes that make us a brand recognized around the world in fly fishing.

You will work independently but as a key team supporter, becoming an expert in certain stages while growing yourself to the next professional production tier level. Production is in stages so learning opportunities are with raw materials, handcrafting from start of the rod to the final customizations which demands focus on the fine details that make our rods so highly coveted amongst anglers around the world.

Agility in learning new processes

Enjoy working with variety of hand tools needed to accomplish our handcrafted reputation

Good communication skills, ready to ask questions while also eager to teach others as I learn.

Keen eye for detail

Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time

COMPENSATION

Hourly positions. Base pay begins at $18.00/hour for those with no related experience. After 90 days on the job, pay is increased to $18.25/hour, and again after 180 days, rates are raised up to $18.50/hour. Applicants with relevant prior experience may qualify to start at a higher pay rate.
