Party Chief & Field Crews

Established Engineering and Land Surveying firm with offices in Englewood and Venice is looking for a Party Chief and Field Crew.

These positions are full-time and comes with benefits including PTO, Holiday Pay, Health Insurance and 401(k).

SURVEY PART CHIEF

Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and ready to hit the ground running.

Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility and as-built recovery and construction stakeout

Assist survey technicians with production of mapping products and computations

Required Skills & Experience:

A minimum of 5 years working experience

Sufficient knowledge to manage most survey-related task in the field to include the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layout

Experience in reading and understanding deeds and plats

Experience in recovery of boundary evidence in field

Ability to collect As-built and topography data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop mapping products

Ability to work remotely for prolonged periods required and under rigorous conditions

Utility locating experience a plus

Excellent communication skills

Must be dependable

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle.

FIELD CREW

1. Must hold a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.

2. Must be in good physical condition and suitable for outdoor work.

3. Must be capable of carrying equipment to remote sites as a portion of the Project.

4. Knowledge of technical equipment including computers, measurement devices, levels and GPS equipment will be considered a plus to your employability.
