As a Store Portfolio Project Manager in the Expansion function, your main responsibility is to set business logics for H&M’s store portfolio method based on portfolio strategy, consumer demand and modulization of the store formats to customize store and assortment mix to the local customer base with a data driven approach. You will use customer-centric insights for store profiling and optimized assortment activation and exposure. You will closely collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to align on priorities, provide insights, understand business needs, and share best practices.This role is central in the store planning process when it comes to space layout per store based on OMNI predicted demand. Many metrics are still in the validation phase and more tests and iterations are needed to fully produce measurable key performance indicators.This hybrid role reports into our Regional Retail Space Manager and is based out of the New York Support Office.A Day in the LifeWorking at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilitiesStore Format Analysis: Works closely with Store Design & Commercial team to determine optimal space layout for existing store locations using data and customer insights, taking into consideration any principal concept optimizations or changes to existing layout guidelinesPortfolio Analysis: Analyze store performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the portfolio based on concept placementStrategic Support: Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making around store openings, closures, renovations, and relocationsCollaboration: Work closely with Sales Teams to plan and implement concept changes & reviews. Delivering information on resources needed and taking into consideration the Sales planning calendars for implementationReporting: Develop and deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations to stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendationsDomestic and International travel will be required for this role, approximately 35%
