Immigration Paralegal

We are a prominent immigration law firm with offices in Brooklyn & Manhattan. We currently have a staff of about 20 employees and are seeking to immediately hire the following 3 full-time paralegals:

(1) Appeals Immigration Paralegal – responsible for file reviews, communicating with clients to obtain required information, legal research, drafting and filing appeals with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and monitoring client spreadsheet for deadlines.

(2) Business Immigration Paralegal – responsible for file reviews, communicating with clients to obtain required information, working on O1B, EB1, H1B, L1, and E2 cases, and monitoring client spreadsheet for deadlines.

(3) Family Immigration Paralegal – responsible for file reviews, communicating with clients to obtain required information, working on removal proceedings, asylum, waivers, marriage, vawa, and adjustment of status cases, and monitoring client spreadsheet for deadlines.

The paralegal will also be responsible for meeting with clients, attending weekly meetings with attorneys, and general tasks assigned by attorneys for completion of client files.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 full year of paralegal experience working on immigration cases. Fluency in a 2nd language is required.

Must be punctual, very detail oriented and hard working. Must have experience in a high-volume practice, a strong understanding of immigration law procedures and able to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines.

These are full-time in office positions (remote and/or hybrid is not available). The hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The starting salary is $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 yearly (depending on experience) plus overtime, yearly bonuses, fully paid medical and dental insurance (no employee contributions), 401k plan with matching, paid time off, and a tremendous opportunity for growth.
