Law Office Project Assistant
We are a boutique law firm in downtown San Francisco looking for a candidate to assist our firm with an ongoing project scanning client files. Our ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. Hours are flexible.
Responsibilities:
Photocopy, scan index files for attorneys/legal staff as needed
Review and name documents; save to client files on network
Catalog status of physical files
Prepare scanned files to send off site or destroy
Maintaining copiers (Cleaning, recalibrating, & etc.)
Retrieve incoming mail / drop off outgoing FedEx/USPS
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
College student preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Desired qualities:
Positive attitude and team player mentality
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Professional office experience a plus.
Schedule
Flexible, approximately 20 - 25 hours per week and
Can be tailored to accommodate college schedule.
