Overview: I am seeking a highly skilled and culinary-trained private chef to prepare 10 personalized, fresh, made-to-order meals each week. The chef will be responsible for designing, preparing, and delivering weekly meals that align with specific caloric and macronutrient requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 10 freshly made meals per week (with flexibility in scheduling).
Follow specific dietary requirements, including portion control, calorie counting, and macronutrient distribution (proteins, fats, carbs) based on client preferences and nutritional goals.
Accurately weigh and portion ingredients to meet precise dietary specifications.
Provide a variety of meals each week that fit within specified guidelines (e.g., balanced, low-carb, high-protein, gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.).
Ensure meals are freshly prepared with high-quality, seasonal ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
Manage inventory of ingredients and recommend shopping lists for grocery purchases as needed.
Qualifications:
Formal culinary training from a recognized institution (e.g., Le Cordon Bleu, Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, or equivalent).
Proven experience as a private chef, personal chef, or in a fine dining environment.
Strong knowledge of nutrition, including ability to accurately calculate and portion meals based on caloric and macronutrient requirements.
Expertise in creating a wide variety of meal options, including dietary accommodations (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, keto, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict dietary guidelines.
Ability to maintain a high standard of hygiene and kitchen safety.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate on meal plans and adjust according to evolving dietary preferences.
Valid driver’s license and transportation (if meal delivery or grocery shopping is required).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific dietary needs such as weight loss, bodybuilding, or meal prep for fitness goals.
Knowledge of sustainable and local sourcing of ingredients.
