FOH Staff (Server, Host)

Mama Wong is an authentic Chinese restaurant serving regional Chinese cuisine and Sichuan specialties. We are seeking FOH Staff (part-time and full-time) to join our team to fill host and server positions. You will be responsible for providing guests with a memorable dining experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a positive and motivated team player with strong communication skills who can handle multiple tasks in a friendly manner with grace and composure. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

Curate a genuine and warm guest-friendly experience at all touchpoints: from the moment they call or walk in to the moment they exit

Maintain organization at the host stand from reservations, ordering platforms, and managing the phone

Demonstrate expertise of all restaurant and company information, including, but not limited to, hours of operations, directions, and awareness of neighborhood

Demonstrate expertise of all menu items with sound knowledge of all ingredients and preparations

Consistently follow steps of service with efficiency and grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service

Anticipates guest needs, ensuring constant communication with colleagues, management, and the kitchen at all times during service.

Maintains the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service.

Demonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and grow.
