About Us: Marshall Design Group specializes in home staging and interior design, transforming properties into captivating spaces. We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Designer/Social Media Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Assistance: Support lead designers during staging days, assist in dressing properties with our furnishings, and contribute creative ideas to enhance design projects.
Social Media Content Creation: Capture high-quality photos and videos of our design projects, and create engaging social media posts to showcase our work.
Client Interaction: Attend meetings with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring our designs align with their vision.
Procurement: Source and acquire design supplies as needed to support ongoing projects.
Remote Support: Provide assistance to the design team through remote tasks, including research and administrative duties.
Qualifications:
Education: Recent graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles or a similar institution.
Design Skills: Basic understanding of interior design and home staging principles. Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software is a plus.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with computers and familiar with social media platforms.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Enthusiasm: Eager to learn and grow in the fields of interior design and home staging.
