A charming lodge in Dover, Vermont, is seeking a Live-In Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This is a hands-on role, requiring both active participation and oversight in housekeeping, laundry, property maintenance, check-ins, and guest requests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee housekeeping and laundry to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Manage check-ins, guest requests, and general property upkeep
- Ensure quality control of rooms, common areas, and overall facility conditions
- Address basic maintenance issues and report larger repairs to upper management
- Track inventory and order supplies to maintain proper stock levels
- Train and hire housekeeping staff as needed during peak seasons
What to Expect:
✅ Offsite Support – Texts, phone calls, emails, guest communication, and revenue management are handled remotely. An operations manager is available 24/7 for remote support and in-person visits.
✅ Hybrid Check-In System – About 70% of guests check in via digital link and receive a door code; others may check in at the front desk.
✅ Guest Requests – Most guest requests come in through a text platform, with others handled via a front desk doorbell linked to the manager’s apartment.
✅ Seasonal Help Available – Additional housekeeping staff will be hired during peak seasons.
