Job Title: Legal Operations Support Specialist (Short-Term)

Duration: Approximately 2 months

Location: On-site (Daily presence required)

Pay Rate: $33–$35/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Support specialist to manage a critical short-term project involving client engagement letters and electronic records organization. This position is essential to assist in a newly integrated merger to streamline processes, ensure timely billing, and improve internal records management.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and distribute engagement letters to clients, promptly initiating billing processes.

Accurately process and input signed engagement letters into firm systems.

Conduct diligent follow-ups with clients to ensure all engagement letters are received, executed, and properly documented.

Efficiently manage the organization and categorization of electronic records currently stored in a single consolidated file.

Adhere to established templates and firm guidelines for electronic records management.

Collaborate closely and regularly with the lead paralegal for guidance, clarification, and management of physical documentation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Legal Operations or as a Paralegal or Legal Administrative Specialist.

Demonstrated expertise in managing client engagement letters, particularly in a merger or integration context.

Effective Self-Starter who can effectively pivot between two major projects.

Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Proactive in client communications and diligent follow-up abilities.

Proven experience handling electronic document management systems and records organization.

Ability to work effectively onsite, independently, and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
