Sales Representative for Print Design Studio (Fashion)

We are New York City based design studio for original textile print artwork, geared to high-end fashion market, with diverse domestic and international sales base.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, social, intelligent and personable individual to add to our sales team. You will be responsible for selling our designs to new and existing customers. This is an amazing opportunity to work in the creative media, and get deeply involved in networking in Fashion. Prior sales experience in a fashion or textile design studio is preferred and we will train for industry specifics. Position requires monthly travel and driving; it is for someone who loves to travel. Responsibilities include contacting customers over email and phone to schedule sales appointments, following the company sales calendar; starting and maintaining strong relationships with clients, updating customer databases, researching new potential clients. Sales territory is North America, but some participation in international trade shows will require international travel occasionally.

Qualifications

Must have an excellent phone/e-mail skills, and enjoy making new connections and networking with new and existing clients, overall excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to travel extensively, valid driver’s license in good standing, ability to quickly orient yourself in different city environments, be a great team player, ability to manage calendars, emails, excel database, sales software and strong computer skills. Must be fashion savvy, fluent in social media platforms and able to do constant research of new customer leads in the fashion industry. You should be comfortable to handle a suitcase of about 50 lbs containing our collection during your travels, on appointments, and on the streets. Must be organized, punctual, and professional. Must love doing sales and have ambition to meet and exceed sales goals.

Hybrid: Must be based in NYC area, able to commute to office at least 2 times a week.

Compensation: Full time - freelance position, flat basic - monthly salary plus sales commission, all travel expenses will be covered.
