Pool Store Manager
We’re looking for a store manager to oversee daily operations in our store and ensure it runs smoothly and effectively. As the store manager, you will be responsible for motivating the sales team, developing business strategies, and upholding the operational and organizational standards of the store. Additionally, you will take part in the training of new staff, and take on other administrative tasks as needed, such as monitoring inventory levels. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards and a welcoming and clean/tidy store atmosphere
Create a clean and safe store environment that complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Set a strong, professional example for store associates to follow
Monitor inventory levels and order new items as needed
Contact distributors for returns or special orders
Place purchase orders with distributors
Train, and oversee new staff, leading by example and ensuring efficiency in the training process
Arrange promotional material and in-store displays
Develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, and create store policies and marketing programs that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base
Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability
Assist customers with Water testing and recommending appropriate treatments.

Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and use cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
Deepen knowledge base of business operations and services to as to answer client questions and concerns
Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable and cost analysis on suppliers to reduce inventory costs
Analyze sales figures, forecast future sales and interpret trends to facilitate planning around seasonal demand for inventory
Organize special promotions, displays and events
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum 3 years Experience working in the Pool Industry
Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a managerial position for 3+ years
Working knowledge of business development best practices
Entrepreneurial mindset
In-depth knowledge of office management
Location: Office
Hours: 40 hour position
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
M, T, TH, FR, SAT 9am-5pm Saturday (seasonally in summer)
Salary: $46,000 - $50,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
