Visual Design & Merchandising Assistant - Fixed Term

We’re looking for a talented individual to join our Visual team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, supporting both our Visual Merchandising and Visual Design teams.Working across a variety of projects, you’ll play a key role in bringing our store to life; from window displays and large-scale Christmas installations to in-store merchandising and eye-catching displays. This is a hands-on role where creativity, flexibility, and a keen eye for detail are essential.You’ll help ensure all visual elements reflect the high standards and distinctive style of the Ballantynes brand, while contributing to the creation of memorable and engaging customer experiences throughout the year; including our most iconic seasonal moments.Successful candidateWe are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:A passion for design and visual merchandisingPrevious visual merchandising experience or relevant creative experience would be desirable Self-motivated and organised in a fast paced and physical environmentStrong communication skillsAbility to adapt and manage tasks effectivelyAn interest in ChristmasFull NZ drivers’ licenceAvailable to travel to Timaru overnight on occasion.
