Business Development Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and international environment, offering significant responsibility, exposure and autonomy from an early stage, while working alongside industry-leading professionals and contributing to the delivery of outstanding outcomes for institutional clients across Germany.What you’ll be doing:Developing and maintaining strong relationships with institutional investorsIdentifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the German institutional marketRepresenting the firm at client meetings, conferences and industry eventsConducting market and competitor analysis, while monitoring developments affecting institutional investorsPreparing and delivering high-quality client presentations and investment solutionsCoordinating new business opportunities and tender processes with internal stakeholdersMaintaining oversight of prospective client pipelines and business development initiativesContributing actively to the continued growth of the firm's institutional business in Germany and across EuropeWho we’re looking for:Demonstrable experience within institutional distribution, consultant relations, client relationship management, or a related function within asset management or financial servicesPossessing a strong understanding of institutional investors, the German institutional investment market, and the regulatory landscape affecting pension funds, insurers and other asset ownersCommunicating complex investment concepts clearly and effectively through strong analytical, presentation and stakeholder engagement skillsBuilding credible relationships with institutional investors and senior stakeholders through a professional, confident and client-focused approachIdentifying and developing new business opportunities through a proactive, entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindsetHolding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline, with CFA or CAIA charter-holder status or progression towards a professional investment qualificationFluent in German and English, both written and spokenCollaborating effectively within high-performing teams, leveraging strong interpersonal and networking skills in an international environmentWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
